Aquachem India Mangenese Dioxide Granules, Greensand Suppliier
Pyrolox®
Pyrolox® is a high-performance, naturally mined granular filtration media used for the removal of iron, manganese, arsenic, and/or hydrogen sulphide in water. Backed by decades of proven use in water treatment applications, Pyrolox® is trusted for producing clean, high-quality water across industrial and municipal systems.
Pyrolox® media provides strong removal of iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide, delivering clearer, safer water.
The media is rugged and maintains performance over extended service life with low annual attrition.
Through natural chemical reactions, the media oxidizes dissolved contaminants for efficient filtration.

Pyrolox® operates by catalytic oxidation of dissolved contaminants:
Iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide in water are converted into insoluble particles upon contact with the media.
Captured solid particles are retained in the media bed and removed during periodic backwash cycles.
Use of an upstream oxidant feed (e.g., chlorine, potassium or sodium permanganate) is recommended to maintain media capacity and extend service life.
Pyrolox® media should be used with properly sized filtration vessels and controls that support periodic backwashing and oxidant dosing where applicable. Performance guarantees are not implied by the supplier; users should validate the media’s effectiveness under actual operating conditions.
Pyrolox® granular filtration media remains a reliable and effective solution for reducing iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide in water treatment systems, especially where robust oxidation and long media life are required.
